# Rust API reference

The native crates document the canonical Arrow schema, payload enum, extension traits, DataFusion session constructor, hashing, and batched tokenization APIs.

Browse the [hosted Rust API](https://nue-japan.github.io/cognoxium/rust/latest/cognoxium_core/), which is rebuilt from the same commit as the latest English and Japanese documentation.

To generate the 0.1.1 API locally:

```bash
cargo doc --workspace --no-deps --locked
```

Then open `target/doc/cognoxium_core/index.html`.

The hosted `rust/latest` reference follows the latest documentation deployment. For release-specific auditing, use the source tag matching the Python release and generate rustdoc locally. The Rust crates are primarily implementation components of the Python distribution during the alpha series; do not infer crates.io availability or a separate Rust release policy from the Python package.
